Client Responsibilities

At Tech SEO Pros, we are committed to delivering high-quality technical SEO services. However, successful outcomes require collaboration between our team and our clients. This page outlines the responsibilities of clients when engaging our services.

1. Providing Accurate Information

Clients must:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about their website, business goals, and any previous SEO work.
  • Share website access credentials (if required) securely.
  • Please inform us of any changes to your website that may impact SEO, such as site migrations, content updates, or rebranding.

2. Timely Communication

To ensure smooth project execution, clients must:

  • Respond to emails and requests for information within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Designate a primary contact person for project-related communication.
  • Please notify us of any delays, internal approvals, or challenges that may affect service delivery.

3. Website Access & Permissions

Depending on the scope of work, clients may need to grant:

  • Admin access to their Content Management System (CMS).
  • Google Search Console & Google Analytics access for SEO audits and reporting.
  • Server or hosting access for technical implementations (when applicable).

If access cannot be granted, the client is responsible for implementing our recommended changes.

4. Implementation of SEO Recommendations

While we provide expert guidance, SEO success depends on execution. Clients are responsible for:

  • Implementing on-page and technical SEO recommendations on time.
  • Ensuring content updates, redirects, and structured data are applied correctly.
  • Following our best practices for ongoing SEO maintenance.

If the client opts not to implement our recommendations, we cannot be held accountable for lack of results.

5. Compliance with SEO Best Practices

Clients must not engage in practices that may harm SEO performance, including:

  • Black hat SEO techniques like keyword stuffing, cloaking, or link schemes.
  • Purchasing low-quality backlinks that violate Google’s guidelines.
  • Hosting duplicate or scraped content that may lead to penalties.

If such activities are discovered, we reserve the right to discontinue services.

6. Content & Branding Approval

For services that involve content creation, meta descriptions, or structured data, the client must:

  • Review and approve content within the agreed timeframe.
  • Ensure that all content aligns with brand messaging and compliance standards.
  • Provide feedback promptly to avoid project delays.

7. Payments & Invoices

  • Clients agree to pay invoices on time as per our agreed terms.
  • Late payments may result in paused or delayed services.
  • Any additional services beyond the agreed scope will be billed separately.

8. Confidentiality & Data Security

Both parties agree to:

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding shared credentials, reports, and strategies.
  • Use secure methods for data exchange (e.g., password managers, encrypted emails).

9. No Guaranteed Results

While we apply industry-leading SEO techniques, search rankings are influenced by Google’s algorithms, competition, and external factors. We cannot guarantee:

  • #1 rankings on Google for specific keywords.
  • Immediate results (SEO is a long-term strategy).
  • Permanent rankings (due to ongoing search algorithm changes).

10. Ending the Engagement

  • Clients may terminate services with 7 days’ written notice (per the contract).
  • Any outstanding invoices must be settled before service completion.
  • We reserve the right to terminate services if the client fails to meet their responsibilities or violates ethical SEO practices.
